GTO underneath. So what would you pay? $1k? $2k? $5k?...

...

HOW ABOUT $125,000???

!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! wants real supercar money for his Fakeron (or something close too it). You can almost get a new supercar for that. You can totally get a used Gallardo and have enough left over for a trip to the bunny ranch for the girlfriend experience for that. Why? How? What exactly makes this guy think this thing - even in totally buttoned up finished condition - is worth even a quarter of what he's asking?

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

Oh, I forgot to mention that he's broken it into to payments of $62.5k for your convenience.

I've seen worse replicas, but I still wouldn't buy that, ESPECIALLY for that much money.

Craigslist should buy this car and use it as their mascot.

How much is a "Stage 1" LS1 and T56 (I hope) worth? Minus labor to remove from this.

Kinja'd!!! SteyrTMP > SteyrTMP

Kinja'd!!!2

At that price, I should charge 100k for my 7, upon completion.

Kinja'd!!!1

There is no way it is worth anywhere close to that—not in parts, labor, or the base car's price will add up to 125k. The most I can even comprehend it being worth is 30k; and that is if it is put together very nicely—not some grey primer, incomplete shit heap.

it's better than that Veyron on an Eclpise that was on Ebay motors forever ago. I mean at least this one will be fast, and RWD.

I hate that 'Stage 1' crap. Like there's a universal system in place to tell you what that means in terms of gains for every car in ever circumstance. ATTN sellers; don't give me that stage one crap, dyno sheet or GTFO.

I think I'd have a responsibility to ham it up real good if I wanted to drive a replicar. The badges would have to say 'Veywrong' and the EB would be replaced with a PB (poor boy)

The worst part is even if it looked exactly like a Veyron when complete, It would still be ugly.

Yup There is no way I could drive a "replica" car with pride it would have to be done as a joke. whether a Veywrong or a Fakerarri.

That only works if you say the brand and package the stage is. Matt Farah can sell his Fiesta ST and list Cobb stages 1-3, because that's perfectly reasonable and accurate. Just randomly stating that there is some "stage" done to it is just asinine. List the individual parts, you dillholes.

You can have a REAL (used) Diablo or Gallardo or F430 or 360 or 575 or R8 or soon SLS for that price. Thats insane!

If it's "self aware", then I say go for it. Like the "Bummer" H2 Conversion kit for the Scion xB.

Still, $125,000. NO. $325.99....maybe...

I'm super surprised you aren't calling the author of this article out on the "bunny ranch comment" where in they literally objectify a woman as an item for rent or sale, as well as an item for rent or for sale in the context of the sex trade.

There was no need for that comment in this article. On top of that it really genders this article toward a masculine audience. Perhaps even a cis-masculine audience.

Either way, I'm surprised that you wouldn't call out such a hetero-normative and anti-woman sentiment.
